The Best Squarespace Template For Your Business Website
One of the best things about Squarespace templates is that they're endlessly versatile, customisable and eye catching for just about any business type.
If you look at the Squarespace template demo page, you'll see each styled to a particular type of business but don't let this fool you; these templates can be transformed anyway you want them.
I've showcased a few of my favourite Squarespace templates for business websites below, a mix of arty and professional styles that are all designed to pack a punch.
Avenue: Classic with a sleek, ageless appearance, Avenue works with an adaptive grid layout that is very popular with writers and designers. I used Avenue myself for many years as a writer, and I just love it.
Marquee: This template rocks in any small business. Its full bleed homepage images are sharp; follow that up with 3D parallax scrolling and you have a slick, professional site that shows off your best features.
Photographers / Creative businesses
Mercer: This template supports big, cinematic image layouts in a grid format. It’s very clean and smooth, perfect for portrait style photographic work.
Ishimoto: The full page image slider on Ishimoto’s homepage is bold in its simplicity on this gorgeous template. It’s a great template for art, fashion or decor photography, or creative business service.
Five: One of Squarespace’s most customisable templates, Five is a great choice for just about any online business or store. It supports image sliders for showcasing featured products, and sidebars on any page.
Thorne: A hugely customisable template, some of Thorne’s best features are shoppable 'lookbooks', image slider galleries, secondary navigation, parallax scrolling, index pages for single page sites and full page images. Make a big statement.
Tudor: This magazine-style template emphasises your posts in a unique and eye-catching way. The grid layout adapts to the size of your images and keeps everything aligned without being rigid.
5. Service Businesses
Hayden: Both versatile and slick, Hayden puts your business’s purpose upfront and central. Show your readers what to do with prominent Calls To Action; sidebars add extra info into any page; and the secondary menu (in the footer) is great for displaying the quietly important stuff.
Pacific: Full width images for each page, fixed navigation, and parallax scrolling are just a few of Pacific's gorgeous features. Its index menu means its a single page site with an air of effortless style. Pacific makes a statement in any type of business.
Feel inspired? You can create an eye-catching, versatile business website on any Squarespace template.
